1 Corinthians 11

In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. (KJV - 1 Corinthians 11:1)

There was a man sent from God whose name was John. (KJV - 1 Corinthians 11:2)

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. (KJV - 1 Corinthians 11:3)
