Amos 1

He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light. (KJV - Amos 1:1)

There was a man sent from God whose name was John. (KJV - Amos 1:2)

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. (KJV - Amos 1:3)

In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. (KJV - Amos 1:4)
