Deuteronomy 1

He was with God in the beginning. (KJV - Deuteronomy 1:1)

Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. (KJV - Deuteronomy 1:2)

There was a man sent from God whose name was John. (KJV - Deuteronomy 1:3)

He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light. (KJV - Deuteronomy 1:4)
