Deuteronomy 30

He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light. (KJV - Deuteronomy 30:1)

The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. (KJV - Deuteronomy 30:2)

He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. (KJV - Deuteronomy 30:3)

Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. (KJV - Deuteronomy 30:4)

He was with God in the beginning. (KJV - Deuteronomy 30:5)

In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. (KJV - Deuteronomy 30:7)
