Deuteronomy 30

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. (KJV - Deuteronomy 30:1)

He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light. (KJV - Deuteronomy 30:2)

He was with God in the beginning. (KJV - Deuteronomy 30:3)

He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. (KJV - Deuteronomy 30:4)
