Deuteronomy 4

He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light. (KJV - Deuteronomy 4:1)

The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. (KJV - Deuteronomy 4:2)

Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. (KJV - Deuteronomy 4:3)
