Genesis 38

He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. (KJV - Genesis 38:1)

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (KJV - Genesis 38:2)

He was with God in the beginning. (KJV - Genesis 38:3)

Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. (KJV - Genesis 38:4)

The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. (KJV - Genesis 38:5)

He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light. (KJV - Genesis 38:6)

There was a man sent from God whose name was John. (KJV - Genesis 38:7)
