Hosea 8

He was with God in the beginning. (KJV - Hosea 8:1)

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. (KJV - Hosea 8:2)

In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. (KJV - Hosea 8:3)
