Isaiah 11
He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. (KJV - Isaiah 11:1)
The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. (KJV - Isaiah 11:2)
Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. (KJV - Isaiah 11:3)

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. (KJV - Isaiah 11:9)
In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. (KJV - Isaiah 11:10)
He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light. (KJV - Isaiah 11:11)
