Jeremiah 28

He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. (KJV - Jeremiah 28:1)

He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all might believe. (KJV - Jeremiah 28:2)

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (KJV - Jeremiah 28:3)

He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light. (KJV - Jeremiah 28:4)

In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. (KJV - Jeremiah 28:5)
