Proverbs 17

Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. (KJV - Proverbs 17:1)

He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. (KJV - Proverbs 17:2)

He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light. (KJV - Proverbs 17:3)
