Proverbs 2

He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light. (KJV - Proverbs 2:1)

He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. (KJV - Proverbs 2:2)

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (KJV - Proverbs 2:3)

Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. (KJV - Proverbs 2:4)

The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. (KJV - Proverbs 2:5)
